It is no secret that Queenstown has one of the best bike parks in the world with terrain and dirt to die for.

We specialise in Bike Park Packages offering multiple different bike options depending on your ability, preference or budget.

Vertigo live and breath for this park, we even built one of the first trails on the hill way back when, it may not look like it did then but the name stuck, so be sure to check out the "Vertigo" trail when you hit up the park!

faq's

DO I REALLY NEED A DH BIKE?

Although modern Enduro bikes are very capable, nothing gives you the confidence in steep, rough off-road terrain like a downhill specific bike.Better suspension, grippier tyres, better brakes and downhill specific geometry.

We always say if you are sticking to the easier trails then taking an Enduro bike like our Giant Reign SX's are perfectly fine but if you want to explore anything harder then take a downhill bike.

WHAT SHOULD I TAKE WITH ME?

A cell phone is case of emergency (dial 111).

There are water fountains in the park, so you don't need to carry water.

There is a cafe in the top gondola building so you can buy food while you are up there and have lunch with a view.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All bookings are fully refundable if cancellation notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.

If for any reason the park is closed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstance we will also offer a full refund or you can change to another day.  We try to be as flexible as we can.

IS A HALF DAY ENOUGH?

In a half day (4 hours) most people can do at least 6-8 runs.  What people find however is that you don't get time to rest, therefore your hands get very tired, very quickly.

Doing a full day is a nicer way to make the most of your day in the park.  You can have a break and make the most of each run as you feel fresher, which means you are also less likely to crash.

IS THE PARK SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?

We recommend having some off-road mountain biking experience for riding the bike park.  There are no beginner trails, there are only intermediate downhill mountain bike trails and harder.
