Pang's Ride

Pang has chosen to ride the new GT Sanction 1.0 for the 2010 season.  He chose this bike after riding a demo GT Force and falling in love with the balanced ride it had and the awesome climbing ability.  He new that the Sanction has the geometry he wanted (long. low and slack), and was going to basically be a burlier version of the Force so he didn't waste anytime and got one on the way.

Pang has chosen to change a few things on his bike, including a higher volume air can for the rear shock to give a plusher ride for the downs, and also put some lighter wheels on it to bring the overall weight down.

Apart from that he has kept it stock, including the Hammerschmidt that comes as standard on the Sanction 1.0.  Pang is loving the Hammerschmidt's sleek looks and compact design, especially when combined with a Dura-Ace 12-25 road cassette and Sram short cage X-0 to keep it all tight and light!

He has commented on how well the Sanction climbs on technical trails, "I am cleaning sections on the Fernhill loop trail that I have never been able to get up before! The I-Drive system works so well! I get traction where I never though possible, it's ridiculous!"
