Summer of 09/10 is Mark's first year with us at Vertigo Bikes.  Originally from the UK, working as an engineer, Mark comes from a downhill racing background, where he has been competing at a very high level for 14 years now (despite only being 26 years old!).  His claims to fame are winning the Whistler Crankworx Garbanzo DH 3 times in the senior mens catagory, putting in times that would have placed him pretty highly in the elite field.  So Mark is no slouch on the downhills.  But equally he can hold his own on the climbs too, even after only being in town for a couple of weeks, he clocked a sub 20 minute time on the climb up the Skyline Gondola access road, something that is stupidly hard to do, and only the fittest of the fit can achieve!
